Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
When she was initially inspired by the shadows she saw on the grass of trees and the shadows she saw on the trees, she set out in developing a process that does not portray the subject in a 2-dimensional picture. It is more like the object has been transformed into its own reproduction which is based its interpretation from the artist. This works best when working with living things as well as items that have a shelf life such as fruits or people. The transient nature of her painterly style is obvious and what remains of Alexa Meade's works is a photographic image. Photographs and painting are coordinated to create a flat two-dimensional surface that is trompe-l'oeil. In certain places, the three-dimensional space can be visible, like near the eye or the hair. Meade occasionally integrates painted models into the environment around them. It allows them to engage with the environment she has created. By doing so, Meade is able to blur the lines between photography, painting and performance.
