Coleman is a native of Blackpool Lancashire. Coleman was head of the class at Arnold School, Blackpool and received straight A's in her A level. If Coleman was asked about her Emmerdale character, she said that it is regrettable having not had a traditional university experience. Coleman, while still in High School, was part of a theatre group called In Yer Space. They performed the play Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. She was awarded an award for her performance while the production was also received favourably. Coleman got the part as Jasmine Thomas while she was performing at drama school. It happened in 2005. Coleman received two awards in 2007. The British Soap Awards nominated her as the best newcomer. The National Television Awards, she received the award for best newcomer with the highest popularity. It was the British Soap Awards 2009 nominated Coleman in categories: Best Actress - Sexiest Feminine and Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman has been nominated as Best Actress by the TV Choice Awards. On the 21st March, 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat made it clear at a press conference that Coleman would be the companion of the Doctor alongside Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat chose her due to her ability to work with Smith, and that she was faster at speaking than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her involvement in the world of film since 1987. But she's been more well-known on television as opposed to films. Eva has played a variety of parts on the screen, but two stand out: the Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as Detective Natalia Boa Vistas which was in CSI Miami. The role that she first appeared on television earned two Daytime Emmy nominations, and gave her the opportunity to explore her passion for music. Eva isn't just an actress, she is as well a philanthropist and businesswoman. Eva is married to three men and has a child from the second.
