Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in America for the past 40 years. Most famously, she is known because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). Her stage career began in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In 1956, she made her big break on Broadway along with Li'l abner. In 1957, she launched her first album of music entitled It's Time for Tina. Louise debuted as a performer in Hollywood with God's Little Acre a drama which was made in 1958. She was Griselda, a character in the film. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's teacher. The year 1964 saw her signing to CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour was able to juggle between Broadway and Hollywood acting as a sombre character contrast to her image of an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Helen Magnus, but in recent years, she has earned a reputation as a producer on a variety of famous TV shows, including Supernatural. Born in Essex, Ontario on 28th August 1965, her family relocated to Toronto when she was three. She spent her childhood there and her adolescence. Her home was in Vancouver after she was selected to play Samantha Carter.
